Updates on the world of [UTG]
If you told me a year ago UTG would be where it is today, I’d think you were crazy. The thought that literally more people than I will ever meet visit our site in any given month is absolutely mind blowing. I want to thank all of you who’ve supported and continue to visit UTG. Your support is helping us so much and we will find ways to repay you. However, this is meant to be an update on our world. The world behind the scenes:
- We’ve begun planning the third installment of our Building a Better Scene compilation series. It should see release by March.
- In the next two months we will be announcing the line-up for the first UTG Summer Tour which will feature 3 of our closest musical companions on the road Mid May-June.
- There are 3, yes 3 BRAND NEW staff members: Heather, Nerissa, and Christian
- We are looking to add 2 more writers before 2010 begins
- We are currently searching for 2 interns for the Spring. If you’re in college, we’re able to give credit for the internship. If interested, email: info@underthegunreview with the subject: INTERNSHIP.
- We’ve decided to extend our charitable efforts in 2010 as well. We’re curretly looking for causes to get behind. If you have one you’re passionate about, tell us: info@underthegunreview.net
- New features, along with the old ones returning
- More UTG - now w/ 2 hosts
- We’ve begun working on a brand new layout. One that will blow all other music news/communities out of the water. It’s very massive in scale though, so it may take us a minute

2010 is coming...
And what a year it looks to be. Things that need done first:
- Pass all these classes [I think exams went well]
- Get all new UTG staff situated and trained
- Finish screenplay
- Finish last 2 books of 2009 [I’ll have read 50 this year!]
- Catch up on Documentaries
- Pack for home
- Travel to a place I’ve been before on a surprise mission
- Organize the rest of the UTG tour
- Discuss business contracts/ownership rights with Grant
